First time here and may I say it was the best!? Not only was the food great in taste, quality, and portions, but the service was honestly the best I could’ve ever asked for Elif, Nada, and Ahmet made sure that our trip was well worth it. My bf and I came from to a week trip from California and we decided to try out the viral spot that’s known for they’re cheese wheel, we had so many questions in regards of the amazing wheel but Nada was so sweet and amazing answering everything for us Ahmet, thank you so much for the Tiramisu it was the best I’ve ever had and to Nada and Elif you guys were amazing today in every aspect thank you for the amazing service served with the delicious food you guys will be missed🥹🫶🏽

Humanity is above business, and these people have a kind and impressive way of treating you. I would sum it up as humanity in all its splendor… From the moment I entered, their service was friendly and fun. My whole family was treated with love and respect, and their food, needless to say, has a touch of culture and essential flavor, all mixed with love, resulting in a rich and delicious dish that I would order again every time I come to New York.I came from Boston and my cousin told me she was going to take me to eat the best pasta she'd ever tasted. When we arrived, there was a small problem with the opening hours; they were almost closing because we got confused. When we told them we were hungry and had come from far away, they took off their coats and started cooking for us. In another place, they would have closed the door in our faces, but here they put humanity before business, and that, to me, is worth its weight in gold.

This place is good for what it is. (If you go in expecting white tablecloths and caviar you’ll be disappointed.) The pasta is solid, the bolognese add-on I got is solid, but the shrimp were overcooked and too salty. Am I mad I paid $23 for my pasta? No. But if I hadn’t gotten the shrimp and it were $20 instead, I would’ve been pretty happy.Overall, pretty good.

Definitely needed salt and I think a few strands of pasta were undercooked. I should've gotten shrimp instead of chicken I think with my fettuccine because it was the same price-- the chicken was pretty bland. Otherwise it's a lot of pasta for the price ($15ish) and the cheese and sauce are great. Not a ton of seating, so I don't recommend for large groups. Keep it to 1-3 people, maybeee 4.

A true hole in the wall. VERY simple menu and food prep concept. The space itself is narrow and not too long. There are about 10(?) two too tables and a short counter where customers can sit. You order at the front…fettuccine Alfredo plus various choices of protein(I had shrimp) and add shredded Parmesan cheese for an extra buck. Your order comes out in a large biodegradable cup with cover and disposable utensils. You can eat it at the table or simply take it with you. The pasta was creamy although there was no runny sauce (a good thing) and was not salty. The shrimp was salty which when added to the pasta, was perfect. The meal was inexpensive ($16), filling AND delicious. What more can you ask?

It was cool nothing to go crazy about in my opinion. The worker was nice. I loved how the pasta is fresh and from scratch. I did wait for a while for simple order but understand things like that take time. I came on a crowded day and there wasn’t enough seats to sit and wait or eat my food so it had to take it to go. Overall the food was nice its just pricy for some pasta my total was about $18 for pasta. I am understanding and get that in order to maintain the place in the city prices are more than if you were in brooklyn or other places.

This place is SO good trust. It was my friends and I first time in nyc and our lunch here was the absolute best. The pasta and cannolis were bomb, prices are reasonable, and what caught our attention the most is the vibe and atmosphere of the place. There’s cute little artwork and murals everywhere, and they’ve got the most adorable courtyard in the back. There’s cute little staff was the sweetest she even gave our group free cannolis and tiramisu’s. 10/10 would totally come back if I’m ever in the city again.

If you want cheap and easy pasta. This is ur place. The space is small and cute. Great little back patio area. Service is smooth and helpful.Inside seating is lacking but just go out backAll the pastas we got were great. I got what the cashier recommend which had mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes.I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here. But I would go if I need food and in the area and want a cheap pasta optionIf I lived in the area I would prob order for delivery often. It’s cheap simple and easy .The lasagne wss kinda small and my least fav option for the same price as the rest

Pasta Sole is a nice addition to the Chelsea Area! Really cute place that’s bright and airy inside with a great truffle smell wafting out the door before you even enter. Lively Italian musical playing and fast service despite a line that wrapped outside the building. I got the Alfredo with shrimp. My pasta was well cooked and tender but the sauce was quite dry. It really needed an extra bit of cream or pasta water. I also would have appreciated a bit more depth of flavor. Perhaps some more black pepper or Italian seasoning. The garlic shrimp were well seasoned and juicy. I really wanted to add broccoli but for some reason they only have cold broccoli. I think a hot steamed version would be nice. I would like to try the pesto next because my coworker really enjoyed her pasta.

It’s pretty good (if your expectations are correctly set)The pasta was good, but the chicken was a bit underwhelming.Having breaded chicken or fried chicken strips instead of ‘creamy chicken’ would help a lot with the texture.The shrimp was definitely better than the chicken in my opinion, and I recommend you get that one and the garlic bread.(Garlic bread with cheese would be killer to add to the menu btw)Overall, a nice and affordable pasta place with a fantastic service.

My partner and I got the Alfredo pasta and you can add additional toppings or cheese. It was pretty good, but nothing too amazing, I wish it was more creamy. I finished my bowl cause I was hungry, my partner got bolognese and some type of meat. Service was friendly and we surprisingly got our picture taken by the social media staff, pretty cool. We tried this place for dinner during the week and it was delicious! The owners are extremely friendly and went to extra lengths to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The pasta was extremely fresh, and you can 100% notice the fresh taste. The pesto was great! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their bolognese next. There's seating inside too which was perfect as we weren't expecting there to be seating originally!

Nice place for a quick bite and I tried to have an open mind about the limited options (chicken in tomato sauce) over Alfredo and I honestly have to say I wasn't a fan. The food was good but mixing pasta sauces just didn't do it for me. Not to say it's bad but I wished they had a grilled chicken option over the Alfredo. If your looking for some good cheap Alfredo, this place is a must visit. The only downside being the more popular this place gets, the longer the wait time is. My wait time was around 30 minutes. The place is very small so it can be cramped and a hassle to get your order, but it’s still delicious. The chicken is juicy and flavorful as well as a topping but they have other options. AMAZING IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!I had seen Pastasole blowing up on TikTok, so I decided to take my girlfriend there for her birthday and it did not disappoint. The pasta was hands down the best I've ever had! We drove all the way from Suffolk County, Long Island just to try it, and it was 100% worth it. Suuuuper long line to order and the wait for getting my actual pasta bowl was long too. It was very packed on a Friday night. I thought the portion was small but it was very filling and the perfect amount. Pasta was good and if I was in the area I’d stop by but I wouldn’t go out of my way unless I was reaaally craving this specifically. I like how customizable it is. I went with friends and we all go different toppings. I paid about 18 with my toppings. The back was very pretty and a nice calm space for the area. It was surprisingly not packed out back and there was plenty seating.

I had Alfredo pasta with shredded beef and truffle oil which cost me around 18.50$.For me, it was a decent pasta dish you could really taste the truffle, and the shredded beef was great. Found this place through Instagram and it was a must visit for us while we were visiting from CA. The food was delicious! We bought 3 pasta bowls and spent about $60 with tip. Two chicken alfredos and one with bolognese sauce. Definitely filled our bellies!It's small & crowed inside, but we were able to get seating in the outdoor patio in the back. The food was ready within a reasonable amount of time. By the time we left, the line was out the door. All in all, glad we made it a point to stop here. My 13yo son loves pasta and he was not disappointed!

The bowl of pasta is fundamentally $10 but with any add-ons it’s basically $20. It was still pretty good pasta and definitely fresh. I’m really picky about my pasta and I thought the flavor was a bit overwhelming (too much cheese). Everything was prepared in front of us so it was interesting to see the process.However, the store is really small and usually busy so it was not as fun waiting though the atmosphere was actually really nice. Good job guys! You truly did some great work with this spot. First of all, I absolutely love the idea! Usually when I think of cheese wheel pasta I think of fancy Italian restaurants, so making this type of pasta so accessible and quick is truly unique!The pasta itself was soo good, fresh and lightly al dente, you can taste it’s homemade.The atmosphere and design of the place was very Italian. All fetuccine is tossed in a large cheese wheel, then topped with whichever topping you choose — bolognese, pesto/dried tomato, etc. I had the pesto option; creamy, chewy but not hard dried tomatoes, good pesto. Just wish there was more pesto, but I enjoy going nuts with toppings while others don’t, just preference. The fetuccine was somewhat al-dente and not too soft, but somehow felt a little more sticky chewy than I would prefer. Frankly I’ve probably had more memorable pesto or cheesy pasta dishes elsewhere, but the dish here was still good. You just have to taste for yourself.

Only 2 protein options, both with their own sauces.The arrabiata with the shrimp in red sauce is really good! Nicely flavored sauce, and shrimp is cooked just right.Creamy chicken is a bit dry and the dish overall could do with a bit of salt. The base pasta doesn't have much flavor, so I'd recommend adding a choice of sauce.We waited for quite a bit for our pasta, likely because they're newly opened. Hope the workflow improves and service gets quicker soon!

A true hole in the wall. VERY simple menu and food prep concept. The space itself is narrow and not too long. There are about 10(?) two too tables and a short counter where customers can sit. You order at the front…fettuccine Alfredo plus various choices of protein(I had shrimp) and add shredded Parmesan cheese for an extra buck. Your order comes out in a large biodegradable cup with cover and disposable utensils. You can eat it at the table or simply take it with you. The pasta was creamy although there was no runny sauce (a good thing) and was not salty. The shrimp was salty which when added to the pasta, was perfect. The meal was inexpensive ($16), filling AND delicious. What more can you ask?

This place is SO good trust. It was my friends and I first time in nyc and our lunch here was the absolute best. The pasta and cannolis were bomb, prices are reasonable, and what caught our attention the most is the vibe and atmosphere of the place. There’s cute little artwork and murals everywhere, and they’ve got the most adorable courtyard in the back. Pasta Sole is a nice addition to the Chelsea Area! Really cute place that’s bright and airy inside with a great truffle smell wafting out the door before you even enter. Lively Italian musical playing and fast service despite a line that wrapped outside the building. I got the Alfredo with shrimp. My pasta was well cooked and tender but the sauce was quite dry. It really needed an extra bit of cream or pasta water. I also would have appreciated a bit more depth of flavor. Perhaps some more black pepper or Italian seasoning. The garlic shrimp were well seasoned and juicy. I really wanted to add broccoli but for some reason they only have cold broccoli. I think a hot steamed version would be nice. I would like to try the pesto next because my coworker really enjoyed her pasta.

Suuuuper long line to order and the wait for getting my actual pasta bowl was long too. It was very packed on a Friday night. I thought the portion was small but it was very filling and the perfect amount. Pasta was good and if I was in the area I’d stop by but I wouldn’t go out of my way unless I was reaaally craving this specifically. I like how customizable it is. I went with friends and we all go different toppings. I paid about 18 with my toppings. The back was very pretty and a nice calm space for the area. The menu is a bit confusing - base pasta is fettuccine tossed in the cheese wheel, and you can add sauces & protein to it. Only 2 protein options, both with their own sauces.The arrabiata with the shrimp in red sauce is really good! Nicely flavored sauce, and shrimp is cooked just right.Creamy chicken is a bit dry and the dish overall could do with a bit of salt. The base pasta doesn't have much flavor, so I'd recommend adding a choice of sauce.We waited for quite a bit for our pasta, likely because they're newly opened. Hope the workflow improves and service gets quicker soon!

I love this place, the pasta is fresh and made at the moment you can even see when your pasta is being put on the parmesan wheel. The concept of building up your own pasta by adding toppings is amazing. My only complain is that this place is really small and there isn't a lot of space to sit down so not great when going with large group of friends but still is my favorite place to eat pasta in NY (specially alfredo)(is not expensive).

My goodness. These guys know how to do one dish really well. Just one base, your choice of sauce from 4 options and you add the toppings. Everything’s fresh and made in front of you. As a girl whos travelled to Italy this is a good spot 👌🏽oh and I asked for chicken to go with my meal but the chicken they had was with red sauce in it. I had ordered the Alfredo with pesto as an add on and then when they added the chicken it put red sauce in that as well, I was a little like ughhh mixing red and white sauce ew! A hidden gem in the East Village. Seating is rather limited and parties more than 4 will find it exceptionally difficult. However, the food was delicious and lived up to the hype. There's really only one thing on the menu, Fettuccine Alfredo but there are a variety of toppings such as dried tomatoes and chicken. Be sure to watch as they make the pasta in an actual cheese wheel.

I LOVE Pasta Sole, which 8 months ago, it was formerly called Pasta De Pasta but no more. Their fettuccine alfredo is delish. They make their own pasta there, and you can add a sauce, a protein and cheese on top of the fettuccine.I recommend the fettuccine alfredo with bolognese sauce and grated cheese on top and the fettuccine alfredo with pesto sauce and chicken. Oh, and you can watch them make their pasta on a big cheese.Their outdoor space to eat is just great on a weather like today (it's been in the 60s, high 70s).The food is delish, the service is great and the atmosphere is great as well. I so recommend anyone to go to Pasta Sole.

The pasta here is amazing. It makes fresh and you can tell the difference between this places pasta and box pasta. The base price for noodles is ten dollars and then it’s goes up based on what toppings you get on your pasta. They are really quick and polite. It gets crowded though and so you probably won’t find seats as it is also a small shop as well. Overall I’d say 9/10, highly recommend.

The place is great but they run out of toppings fast. I wanted to get the pasta with pesto and dried tomatoes and they ran out of the dried tomatoes. I felt like I should of been charged less than the whole four plus dollars. 😕 So this is why I can't give five stars.

Came in on the 12/9 with my kid. She got the classic Alfredo and I ordered the bolognese. The space isn’t the roomiest but for a quick bite without lingering too long is worth it. Since it was raining we were unable to experience the patio so we sat indoors. The bolognese had Alfredo sauce Parmesan cheese. It was flavorful and delicious. Affordable and good portions. I also ordered the beef Arancini. Once I bit into it I was in heaven! I definitely recommend this place. I’ll be back soon. We need more locations, you guys would make a killing in midtown Manhattan!

The best and worst thing for a business is to viral. They have a very hardworking and great staff even with very long lines at times. The pasta is not going to taste like American or Italian American pasta. It’s not salty and the Alfredo is made the traditional way using parm and water. I notice people kept calling it watery in the reviews. There is no heavy cream that’s why. Great portion size and overall very good. Try to go at a down time and the wait won’t be crazy. 10 min tops for me. We are used to a certain taste in the states but they are cooking it the way you’d have it in Italy. Just get some grated parm on top if you need a little more salt.

Visited this place after a video of it on Tik-Tok appeared talking about their famous pasta Alfredo. Initially hesitant I expected the worst, especially when it comes to stores that get popular over social media. Their pasta Alfredo is $9 without the toppings so it isn't super wallet friendly. However, their Alfredo tastes absolutely amazing and you'll be hard pressed to find other places that can serve such a good dish. I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place out, but if you're in the area after payday it's definitely worth it. The parmesan wheel is definitely for show, but atleast you know they're using the real stuff. Hopefully they keep it up as time goes on.

It's a more of a take out spot rather than dine in. Everything is served in a to go boxes. No service, all selfserve. The pasta they use is not freshly made or even good quality. I think for the price, it was worth the hype. I ate the fetucinne alfredo with mozzarela, and the arancini. Overall I think it was nice for the price. Since the pasta IS heavy, I would say it could feed 2 people. The place was a little tight to eat, but if we are talking cheap eats, I would recommend.

Expect a line and a wait. Even on a slow summer day in the city this place was packed. I didn’t realize the base of all pasta orders are fettuccine alfredo, so if you don’t like super creamy pasta this won’t be for you. Then you can add bolognese, veggies, chicken, etc on top. Not sure why they offer cold mini mozzarella balls as a topping (seems odd). Glad I tried it, but won’t be running back. Wish the pasta water was salted more as the overall taste was under seasoned. Also got the arancini balls which had perfectly cooked rice and the best crunchy exterior. However, was only filled with rice and cheese. No meat or peas like traditional ones :(

The portions are great especially for the price and the Alfredo sauce is the base for all their pastas. It's a great spot for solid pasta in the east village.

The very best pasta I've had in the city thus far 👌🏾😊 (homemade is definitely the way to go !!). ANY combination will do seriously 😋. Worth the 20 to 30 min wait in a very much now gentrified area of the city 😇
